Hip Hop Artist, Model & Fine Art Student: Fawk Samúel

Fawk Samúel is an American alternative Hip-Hop artist and producer, as well as a professional model, and studying fine artist. He is known locally by the Philadelphia college scene.

He began preforming live shows at small venues, secret basement shows, and art galleries in the fall of 2014, and has since been gaining popularity with the city's music and art scenes.

Coming off of a successful response to the two released singles off of his upcoming EP "Night" there is a building anticipation within the local scene for what is to come from Fawk.

Fawk's music can be streamed (and some can be downloaded) from SoundCloud.

Videos to some of the music off of my last two projects can be found on YouTube.

Tenue de Nîmes: ‘Pablo’ Jeans

Tenue de Nîmes is proud to release its latest Jean ‘Pablo’ today, made from a Japanese fabric: 'Memphis blue'. The Tenue de Nîmes jeans are the first step within a collection of garments that are timeless and always based on the basic principle of quality.

The company's co-founders chose Italy as the starting point of their first jeans collection. Over the past decades this European country was an unquestionable authority in the make and development of denim. Therefore Tenue de Nîmes decided to let the Pablo jeans be made by a small factory in Italy, an hour away from Veneto, owned by an Italian woman and her son.

The Tenue de Nîmes Pablo jean serves a traditional denim aficionado. Where the first Tenue de Nîmes jean ‘Charles' is a contemporary fit with a tight leg, the Pablo is a straight jean with a slightly more relaxed top-block and a slim but easy leg. The Pablo jeans could be described as a more classic ‘Americana’ jean. From a fabric perspective Tenue de Nîmes believes there are two countries that turned fabric production into an art: The United States and Japan. This is why the first ‘Pablo’ jean is created with a 14,5 o.z. Memphis II fabric from the Rampuya denim mill in Kojima, Japan.

Especially for this Tenue de Nîmes release the company teamed up with French photographer Sophie Ebrard: who created a campaign in the beautiful landscapes of Cape Verde.

Domingo Rodriguez Spring/Summer 2016

For SS16 Domingo Rodriguez presents his menswear collection, a simplistic combination of masculine and feminine details.

Signature design aesthetics of a modern take on minimalism and luxury craftsmanship continue within the SS16 collection.

Razor sharp pattern cutting of deceptively simple techniques create a clean, modern look.

collection offers classic monochromatic colourways in a variety of new textures and finishes, providing a directional yet relaxed everyday look.

This season is a play on masculine and feminine ideals by taking menswear staples such as the denim jacket, parka, tailored blazer and in floaty fabrications such as silk georgette and crepes, which skim the body highlighting the silhouette.

There is a sense of delicacy and softness to the collection, showcased with the sheer silk black button up shirt, which is balanced with the structure and hardware of the collection, shown with the custom summer weight leather jacket.

There is also a sports mentality in the finishing of the collection with elasticated hems, button off hoods and metal hardware to create a balance to the softness of the feminine fabrics. The core structure of Domingo Rodriguez continues to emphasize the quality that goes into the construction of each piece.

The minimally cut fabric and double layered hems create a high fashion and high quality finish.

The pattern cutting technique creates a sleek modern look with a seamless luxury finish.

Clarks X Norton AW15 Styles

This season Clarks will again join forces with legendary British motorcycle brand, Norton, creating a collection of boots just in time for AW15.

A sublime collision of biker and vintage American influences create an undeniably premium range of styles, with quality and authenticity at the very heart of the collection.

Sharing an obsession with function and form, highlights of the collaboration include the Mellor Top and Norton Zip - made from heavyweight leather,

Mellor Top is a pull-up hardware boot with metal detailing; Norton Zip, meanwhile, delivers a sense of adventure with tough leather and authentic biker finishes including a reinforced gear change panel and reflective heel tabs.

The 1st Edition of New York Fashion Week Men's

The first-ever New York Fashion Week Men’s has come and gone, held July 13-16 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

As many designers exhibited their spring/summer 2016 collections, many new trends stood out, one of which was "stripes."

Some versions of stripes struck me as a bit too similar to inmate clothing, while others like Jeffrey Rudes were a bit more tasteful.

Welter Shelter: Autumn/Winter 2015-16

Come hell or high water.

Welter Shelter is a new all-weather outerwear brand. Designed in Amsterdam, made in Europe. Welter Shelter jackets represent the best of both worlds: warmth and protection provided by technical superiority, coupled with an undeniable stylish exterior and excellent comfort.

The jackets are made from the finest fabrics and materials on offer, complemented by a
technical three-layer membrane to make them 100% waterproof, breathable and wind

Welter Shelter was born in the midst of a November storm. When the weather gods
released their fury on a recently bought five hundred euro woolen winter coat and
defeated it in minutes. The owner was left cold and soaked to the bone. After cursing his
fate and choice of apparel, he’s left with a striking conclusion; this can be done better.
And thus, Welter Shelter was born.

Fall Winter 2015
For FW 2015 Welter Shelter has given some of the most quintessential wardrobe pieces
the technical treatment. The Terror Weather parka, Long Dong trench and Camera jacket
for men and the Long Tube and Clock V for women all maintain a classic minimalistic,
almost elegant exterior, while having full functionality underneath. All jackets come with
an inner removable isolation jacket for absolute warmth.
